Subject: Re: Snowblower vs snowplow???

Southeast Minnesota

We used our blower quite a bit until we got the blade for the pickup (Boss V on 3/4 ton). Now the blower only gets used once and a while. We can move so much more snow, faster, with the blade. When we start plowing season, we plan on using the blade a lot by pushing the piles way back in the yard and as far off the drives as possible. Once the snow is initially moved, good luck moving it again unless you have some major equipment and/or time.

Oh - If you put 1500-2000 pounds of ballast in the back, you can plow twice as much before getting stuck.
