If you like trains and train stuff you have to stop at Bailey Yard in North Platte, Ne. Its on the NW corner of town, probably not more than 10 minutes off I-80. It is the largest switch yard in the world. Covers something like 3000 acres. They have a 7 story observation tower and people there to tell you whats going on.
