Northeast Indiana (Auburn) | Before I would put much money in it rebuild wise I would give it a good look over and only replace what is needed until you run a crop thru it. You will have an easy $1500 in a longer auger, $900 in a concave, $900 in cylinder bars and the list goes on. I would want to know if the motor and hydro is good before putting a lot of money in to a $5000 combine. By the way I run a 1982 L2 and also have a 1985 L3 that is complete for parts that will run but leaks coolant into the engine oil. |
