I worry about if the grass in the pastures will survive with out moisture this winter. As well as trees. If a guy has any trees he doesnt want to die. He should be watering them now as much as possible. Winter is tough on young trees an even older ones as dry as it is. Not much wheat in my country but down south there is some. Its started but without either a snow cover or good moisture it wint survive the winter. In the wheat country the wheat is in the poorest condition it ever has been. Looks like according to weather records this is the driest we have bee since 1890 about 8 inches in my guage for the year. Even beats the thirties. Hoping for a wet March in to April period. This dry weather is sure moving the bred cows to market. Most I have seen move in years this early. Dug a post hole in my pasture it was dust as deep as the digger would go, Very scary dry. Even my dams are all dry.
