| behog, I 99% of the time agree with your posts, but you are off base on this one. A number of years ago, same thing happened to us but it was deer hunters and a lot of shooting going on near our freestall barn. The cows got running and one did the splits.
We were ticked off, sure. But we moved on. Insurance is not going do anything for you.
& is your cow really worth $2k????
