Lapel, In | As pointed out somewhere below or maybe Forum Talk, the dollar has lost half of its value to other currencies. That means somebody is buying some cheap beans at $5.50 relative to what the exchange rate is or used to be depending upon your perspective. So all you people that think beans are going back to $7 , had better refigure a bit. If they do then look for exports to get REALLY WILD and at a time when we are not blessed with an abundance of the things ? A price of $3.50 will sell a lot of beans to overseas markets The point is we should not overlook the critical importance of the exchange rate. It can make you or it can break you in a hurry.
