But what happens the first time the owner decides the yields aren't what they should be?  Or weed control sucks?  Or the seed variety chosen (by who?) was wrong?  To me this doesn't sound like a normal "custom operator" relationship.  More of a crop consultant relationship.  NOT that there is anything wrong with that, but it is differnet and the OP should consider that.
