It amazes me at how farmers want to use those gauges for billing. Those are only meant as a guide for filling purposes. Write down the acres and rates if you take a tank from one field to another. That is the correct way to do it. If you use the same rate and at field 1 you do 50 acres and field 2 you do 25 acres then field 1 needs billed for 66% of total pounds on the scale ticket.
