 East Central Ia | It depends on how many bph you want to run. Most newer larger combines have a feederhouse heavy enough to handle it. I run an 18r20" head on a class 7 Lexion in rolling hills and get along great.
I would think some class seven machines will handle that head and most if not all eights and larger. But once again depending on your ground and expected capacity there will be a large differnece in how well each will handle it.
I would much much prefer to go 3-4mph with a 16row head than race 6-8mph with an 8row head. Much less turning around for me in odd shaped fields as well.
