In that year 0.50%, yes less than half of a percent of estates that paid estate tax had farmland in them. I know land has moved a bunch since then but everyone who says this is a farm issue needs to remember the giant chunks of dynastic wealth off of the farm in this country like Walton, Rockefeller ect. I'm not trying to say it's good or bad but that was the fact that year. | |
