East Central, Nebraska | sounds to me like you either do it or lose it. how well do you like your job? I am going to share crop a farm this next coming season. We are on 50/50 shares for irrigated ground, but the landlord pays his/her share of the expenses too. I have never really heard of it being done the way your explaining. I was always told that a person used to make alot more money letting the landlord share the expenses and income but now these days who knows. I don't think anyone on agtalk is going to be able to tell you what you can and cant afford to do. Run a cash flow. since your asking for everyones opinion though, you should have been making a killing the last few years at those rent amounts. try the share's for a year or two. maybe the landlord will feel bad for you if you show them your not making any money. doubt it but maybe. | |
