SC | We have had trouble with our Mini GAC being consistant this year. Seems like it is impossible to adjust the bias at times. Local coop uses the GAC2100 and are strongly considering getting one of those. Seems to be pretty good. One thing we have noticed is how full we fill it affects the moisture readout. If you heap it on it seems to stay more accurate this year as compared to the elevator we are checking it against. If you level it off as directed it is very inconsistant to the point of the same sample testing a point or so off. Some folks swear by the miniGAC but after this year I am having some doubts as to consistant accuracy. I guess it would be ok for getting a general idea of where your fields are setting, but that's about it IMO | |
