Northern Illinois | It is all about timing. I have no doubt but that at many points over the next 50 years $15000 will look like a good buy. BUT what happens if 2 years from now that land is worth $7500/acre? It is not about looking at the long term prospect when you may not be able to survive a short term correction. In 1982 I purchased some $2600/acre land that I ended up turning back and I have also purchased some $6200/acre land in 2005 that looks like a great investment. | |
