Michigan. | Yep, it's gone from Bad to really bad around here.
There really are no jobs that pay anything near a "Living wage". Lots of Part time $9hr. administrative positions are open, and plenty of part time Min.Wage jobs but that is pretty much it.
I look every Fall for a winter job, but the last couple of years it's been lousy. Saw a couple of openings for CNC machinists that were part time at 12 bucks an hour!!! WOW!
Had a Casino open up one town over, and they were clobbered with 10,000 applications in just a couple days.
We keep hearing about the "Economic recovery" that is supposed to be going on somewhere, but it ain't here. | |
