Central Iowa | Beans are $17/bu........ find someone within 50 miles of you that has a bin with a drying floor. Rent the bin for whatever it takes - even $1/bu. Put the beans in the bin. Turn the fans on and let them run 24 hours/day. take the beans out and sell them to whatever elevator you choose. Collect $15/bu after your rent, electric, trucking. Even $15 is still a damn good price for beans. Someone somewhere will rent you a bin. Money talks, so talk to your neighbors, talk to the guys at the elevator, put the word out that you'll PAY for temporary storage. get air on them. You'll be alright. | |
