...arc or mig welding is probably going to warp it a bunch. If you have a powder welder, you could probably get away with building up the grooves, but it will probably cost you just as much as a new one. Either way you're only going to save yourself maybe 40-50 bucks....and take the risk that the welding stresses that bolt enough to crack it. Do you have time to do it a second time?
