Central Illinois | 9220 and a 9230. Either is more than adequate for a 24 row planter, and I like the way you sit up high and look down into a hopper bottom when unloading a grain cart. However, in wet fall conditions, the 12.5L motor in the 9220 will absolutely walk all over the 9230 when pulling carts. Three years ago, you couldn't downshift the 9230 fast enough, while you could upshift the 9220 and bull yourself through a mud hole. I don't know, but I suspect the air cart could be a load also. | |
