WY, OK | That is right a 7.3L powerstroke got 1.5-2x more mileage than a 6.0L and even more than a 6.4L but the two newer engines are supposedly "cleaner" Of course since they use twice the fuel how much better can they be. The problem is the EPA they do NOT want diesel engines pure and simple and they are going to restrict the market as much as they can to kill as many as they can. Look at Europe where you can get a diesel option in almost every vehicle and they can get 50+mpg but don't pass the sniff test for the US. | |
