No way. Had a fully ballasted 8430 that was chipped and it wasn't enough in some soils with a 530 DMI. They work so much better at higher speeds, get a 5 shank and go faster.
Edit- Forgot they were 24" spacing on the 870's. In lighter soils it would be ok. In clay soils I don't think it would be enough.
