York, PA | FWIW, I have run the 6R with a 4 way blade and they work for pushing. The 6M may feel a little underpowered when doing bulk work but you have 13.5' of blade in front of you on the LGPs. You do want to look where the bosses are welded. I had mine repaired twice and eventually the company put a new plate on the back. We did a lot of work in rocks and probably pushed the limits. I loved the six way blade, but I hated just pushing and doing bulk work all day with it. The best way to move dirt is with a Scraper IMO. If you can't get a scraper in to help, then the 6R will do well but when you touch up all your dirt will roll off the downhill side of the blade which causes a lot of back and forth. How many hrs will you put on it in a year? | |
