I sold some steers at Tama about a month ago that averaged 1567lbs. and brought 129.25 = $2025. That's a record for this farm. Due to my poor record keeping and feeding so many classes of cattle at the same time, I can't tell you if I made any money or not. These were home raised though so I had more opportunity to make (or lose) money at one level or other.
