NW Washington | It has been my experience that all rear tine garden rotary tillers require a strong able bodies person to horse them around, especially if trying to till hard ground or sod. Some of the high priced ones like BCS actually have individual steering clutches
on the wheels to help steer and turn the thing. I recommend permanent raised beds and no-till gardening to save the expense and hassle of tillers, spades and rakes. And the earthworms will appreciate it too.
