A "normal" box on a 3-wheeler is 300 cu ft. A 3020 or 3220 is 225. With an ~10" extension it's about 285. They spread lime to about 3.5 ton per acre, but will struggle holding spinner speed because of the amount of hydraulic HP available. They are high in the air. A belt and skid steer work about as well as a payloader and they can be towed around with a 1 ton truck.

They're practical because you have 1 depreciating machine that runs about all year. It holds it's value well and with the advancements in technology, you can trade more often because you put so many hours on it.
