South Dakota | I think you you should probably decrease the meter setting by 8% instead of increasing it. It kind of works backwards. If your monitor said you sprayed say 1050 gallons and the tank is actually 1250 then you would increase the meter calibration number, but your monitor showed 1350 so decrease the meter cal.. The Raven manual explains this pretty well. In my instance I found that the tank actually holds more than it is rated or the what the water tube guage showed. Thus, rather than remarking the water tube I increased the meter cal. But you case is actually the opposite.
It would probably be best to get an actual measurement on your tank size with some sort of a water meter. I was told that the raven calibration number on the flow meter is usually correct and it is the tank measurement that is off. | |
