Denhoff,ND right in the center of the State | I bought a used JD 820 rear tine tiller for my wife and mothers gardens, It seems to be a very well built tiller, has 8hp briggs with electric start and fires right up, tines look next to new, my question is how old of a machine is this and and how do you like them, we had a Troy built Horse before and didnt like it, its name said it all, stuborn to steer, heavy, clumbsy, and the tine only went in one direction and it would about drag you if you were tilling sod or compacted soils. I like that this has dual direction tines and also that the handles swivel from one side to the other so you dont have to walk on what you already tilled, have any of you got a potato hiller that attaches to the tiller and how well do they work? Thanks, Terry |
