What are the units of measurement for the gauge? Are you sure it is properly calibrated? Try testing the vac fan with a manometer instead of the gauge. All you have to do is stick a tube into a bucket of water and measure the distance the water moves up the tube above the surface in the bucket. Given the information you have provided, the water will only move up the tube about 16 inches…providing the gauge measures in units of H2O (water) and is properly calibrated.
