these turbo's don't have a wastegate. they have a VNT, similar function but different I guess. I will check to see when the rod moves when we throttle the engine up. The engine also starts to sputter at all speeds when you set the cruise. turn the cruise off and it only starts sputtering at 1500 rpm's or 100 kph, whatever comes first.
