Subject: EZ Steer T2 box shorting when grounded.

Paxton, IL

I just finished installing my fm-750 and ez steer in my MX180 today.  I took it out to calibrate it and test it out and found that I had no communication between the display and the T2 box.  After a few hours of testing and scratching my head I finally figured out that it won't power on when I have the T2 box bolted down to the floor behind the seat.  I noticed if I power it on while holding the T2 box, everything works fine.  Then if I lower the box down onto the mounting studs on my bracket I see some very faint sparks and I get an error on the display saying it lost communication.

I had read that some control boxes had this problem, but I've never seen a solution posted.  any ideas?
