| Couple quick tidbits on demand, since I went to a meeting with my marketing guy tonight. New Orleans corn basis has been running +.70-80, when 30 to 40 is more normal. And the Baltic Dry Index, which is basically a measure of what it costs to put freight on an ocean going vessel, is very low historically. Basically, the takeaway from that is, we could probably be exporting quite a bit more corn if we weren't coming off of 2 relatively short crops in the Illinois/Mississippi river areas. Just something to think about when considering what the net cost of that corn is when it gets overseas. Link to BDI chart, hopefully.
