Was worried mounting to the wood might not be enough. Wanted opinions before I mentioned that. Dealer thought it wouldn't be strong enough and thought a steel frame should be built and use binders to hold it down. Bed is new and sturdy. Didn't know if I direct mounted it if I needed steel to mount it to underneath. Never done this so don't want a tank and 12' pieces of wood laying in the road.
