Wi | Mack trucks are love/hate. They have a cult following that was dying off very fast. They were the "tough truck" until the 90s came and they focused on the road tractors and forgot about off road trucks. They have since gotten back into the off-road trucks slightly.
The older Macks were mack everything and like stated earlier, more money to fix and more of a PITA to fix unless you have all Macks. They just like to do things opposite from the rest of the crowd which makes working on them a little difficult at times.
Many of the road tractors are now using eaton transmissions and differentials and the newer engines a red painted volvos. | |
