| Your mention about vehicle cost got me thinking. Why on earth did GM build this car as a means to "revolutionize" their offerings and hybrid cars as a whole, then upscale it to the point that it isn't affordable to the masses?
The Prius, being under $20k, is a no brainer... good mileage, amiable comforts, it's the epitome of a daily driver. Frankly, I'm not shocked at all that Chevy has trouble selling the Volt. You can't expect to top the Prius if your typical car buyer can't afford it.
That said, I like the Volt. I like how it looks and I like how it works, but I'm disappointed in how it was handled. | |
