As Dennis said the auger will have some resale value in the future and horsepower is not that much more. You also don't have to worry about overloading the roof auger and causing problems with your regular auger.
Roof augers can be very hard to work on depending on the placement. Should you put up a leg, roof augers are no fun to get down without destroying them leaving no resale value on them. | |
