Do other controllers let you enter a few things one time and handle every blend accurately? With things like granule size and so on changing every application, I'm having trouble seeing how they could. Though they might be able to assume certain things and get close.
That is why the 4 different constants , covers 98% of the blends flow properties , on occasion if you get a load of junk , you make an adjustment(guess) with the rate to compensate.
Look at the new leader sp6 for an example of what I'm talking about.
My BIGGEST complaint with the viper , you can do this ,but you have to ENTER that info EVERY time you change products , thus the chances for error are SO MUCH greater in the rush of the busy season , and another piece of paper to have floating around in the cab .
To me it would be like getting a new cell phone that wouldn't store phone numbers , when you complain , they say "WHY would you want that every-bodies number is different" ? |
