Before you spend $1,000 bucks on that valve, have him make a run with the hydraulic fill cap left loose and see what happens. If the vent in the cap is plugged (and they can get plugged with dirt), it will build pressure in the hyd tank possibly forcing the oil thru a shaft seal on the hydraulic pump(front left corner of the trans behind engine) or steering pump (left rear corner of trans under cab floor).
