Personally I think that is inexpensive, Jake. Anything I seed is going to cost that much. It's pretty easy for me to pick up 20 bu notill corn in radish strips compared to no radish. Add a row of peas inbetween the radish rows and Groff got 190 bu corn with no purchased N and Brandt got 210 but he has been in notill and covers a little longer than Steve has.

Aerial seeding is more of a risk to get them up but was easier this fall with frequent rains in the eastern US, not in your area though. But it helps get more cash crop out of fields instead of taking it out of production to build the cover crop.

Mine are pretty much dead and slowly rotting with no long period of temps below 20 degrees.

Yes that stink is from the gases released in decomposition.
