Central MN | I have planted with a articulated tractor for 3 years now and there is a little wiggle with the tractor and it does bother me somtimes, problem spots are in a lot of hills, if you go through a draw at an angle or if the field is spongy underneath like this spring the wiggle will be worse. I strip-tilled this fall with a articulated tractor and a 1910TBT with a 2510S and the wiggle from the tractor doesn't bother the strip-till machine at all because there is so much distance between the tractor and strip-till machine due to having the air cart between the tractor and strip-till machine. The wiggle is worse in the spring than the fall.
I am going to a John Deere 8360RT this coming spring on the planter for compation reasons and because sometimes that wiggle can get really annoying. | |
