Subject: Re: Which tool for stalks going to soybeans

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
Ran a Landoll 7431 in mid March last year and drilled beans in early May. Had the best stand and crop of beans ever. Here, we like to keep the stalks during the winter to catch snow and save moisture. If you are in a higher rainfall area, one fall trip would do OK too. The Landoll is one of few machines heavy enough for one pass and the rolling baskets can firm the ground behind to plant or drill right into.
