Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I have worked with one in the past. The above post is correct. Concentrate on getting the Rawson to do it's thing first before getting too excited about the Insight.
As stated the Rawson is still running the show. The Insight gives commands to bump up or down the applied rate rather than you doing it with the knob. The Rawson still computes the rate and adjusts the rate of delivery based on its settings, ground speed width etc. The Insight will eventually do some of that calculation on its own for its record keeping/mapping purposes.
Be certain that you have the correct serial cable from the App Rate module to the Rawson. There are two types available, one is specific for a Raven and possibly won't work with the Rawson. They have different part numbers and the one for a Raven has the word Raven on the tag. I don't know the part numbers here at home. |
