SE PA | I have a half speed as well on my JD 1560. The setting for the large grain box is normally 3 or 4. The flutes are almost closed and the seed is coming out the little notched opening. The half speed is not much different since it's still such a low rate- try setting 5. Every drill can be slightly different with these low settings. The best thing is to put in a know quantity and plant a few rounds to see if you are close. Once you find the sweet spot you're ready to go. | |
