Priceville, AL. | We had mixed results with our burn down this year...I believe it has more to do with the timing of our spraying....we mix 32 oz. of RU, 10 oz. of Clarity, and 2 oz. of Valor per acre and where we applied in early-mid March we had excellent control of marestail...then the rains came and we got back in the fields mid April and finished our burndown...these fields all have marestail....You can see the marestail to the row in one of the fields we didn't finish before the rains.
We will be looking at applying the Valor in late fall if it doesn't hurt our cover crop.
