The Nano Station antenna Mike links to above look like the slickest solution for what you are interested in doing that I've seen. I'd be interested in more information on the Nano Station.

Surfing the web tonight looking for info on the Nano Stations. I'm almost thinking I need to scrap my kludgy system and rebuild.  There are links to the software on Ubiquiti's website.

These might not be  plug and play.  If you ran into a setup issue you might need a friend to help with the setup  There are multiple you tube videos on various versions of the antenna.  Here are a couple of video links to the M5 which should be similar to the M2.
