SE South Dakota | Just don't dig out any dirt below the existing tile and then start you new line a bit above the main and you should be good. Problems crop up when you have to backfill under lines and then the line settles, possibly pulling away from the tee. If you do dig too deep and need to backfill gravel will make a good base that should not settle much.
