don't know if anyone will check this, but i have a canon mp830 for the past 3 years. today it gave an error code that i have learned to be the end of the printer. not impressed. i shopped around 3 years ago for a good-reveiwed machine and have had 3 really good years until today. maybe this is normal life-expentancy for a printer. idk. I hope the new canons aren't subject to this??
