Try it for a year, if you dont like it try sf2. If you have strait rows i dont see why it wouldnt work, if you are in curve track like I run all the time, your offsets measurement matter more than the correction signals of the satellites do. As far as i can tell with sf1 it will drive straighter than I drive manually so why not try. We planted with 1 tractor with SF2 and one with SF1, other than a few more long time satellite drift issues, pass to pass they were about the same.
