It depends. I use SF1 on a 8120 with an ATU. I bought the system to use with an air seeder where I can live with a bit of in-accuracy. Because it is on the tractor when planting corn I use it then as well. For me I wouldn't want to be without the markers on the planter. I use the markers for headlands and use the mark to shift the A-B as needed. Here, for me there is just too much drift to feel confident to plant row crops without the markers as well.
If given the choice between that system or markers I would take the markers any day. However I am glad to have the luxury of both.
