Central To Everything and Close to Nothing | I agree, JD and Bourgault carts are the slowest to change VR but I think its the nature of the beast. I have been concered about this too but whenever I have summarized the as-applied data to the Rx maps, the average rate achieved per zone have been very close. Keep in mind, just because you placed a line on a map doesn't mean that the soil changes right there so a little ramp up and down on the line is not a bad thing. Like already mentioned, you may want to add more transition zones to your maps. Some software packages also feather the rate changes when they create the Rx map so that might be an option for you.
