Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yes, that would be possible in several situations as the Insight can communicate with many third party controllers via a serial connection. Using the Insight in this manner would require the use of the Application Rate Module and the appropriate serial cable.
In some situations this is actually more desirable as the rig can still be run in its original fashion if the Insight is unavailable. We have many customers who use their Ag Leaders for Yield Monitoring or other tasks that make them unavailable at certain times. Another advantage to this arrangement is that the Ag Leader product can easily be removed should the rig be sold or traded. This would not be a big issue in a rig like this but might be in others.
