Subject: RE: John Deere 630 carb problem

Southern MN
If you do send out your carb I would suggest Robert's Carb in Iowa. DO NOT send it to Denny's, have heard too many horror stories of carbs coming back not repaired and just given a coat of paint.

I dont have much experience with the 2 bbl DTLX's that are on the numbered series, but you said you screwed the load needle out? That will richen the mixture not lean it out.

I've had the best luck with the rubber tipped needles.
