nc north dakota | i have two isx engines on the farm. the 05' truck i have had great performance, good mileage, dependability in extreme cold and no issues. just got an 08' this summer and the engine has very high hours for a 3 yr old. the jury is still out on the newer one...and it has been at the engine shop already....nothing drastic though. all of the owner/operator truckers ive talked to around here like the isx.
JMO.....with all of the epa hurdles we are going to have to deal with in the upcoming years, might as well find someplace that has good service. And then go with the engine they specialize in. i have heard issues with every engine manufacturer. | |
